Jeremy Phillips

Jeremy Phillips, owner and operator of Hutchbilt design, grew up in Durban South Africa and discovered a love for design and manufacturing at an early age.

Starting by taking apart birthday and holiday gifts, Jeremy soon progressed on to motorcycles, having always been fascinated by the inner workings of machines.

Playing off his career as a professional athlete, Jeremy started on his second career by designing and developing a camera rig to film big wave surfing, and the Hutch Mocean Cam was born. The Hutch Mocean Cam has been used in many television commercials, movies and documentaries.

Jeremy’s love of both form and function coupled with an innate sense of style, sent him down a lifelong path of creating art that is as unique as it is functional.
