Meditation Deck

I created a Japanese style meditation and Yoga deck in a garden in Westchester. An apartment block bordered the property which required privacy to be implemented in the design whilst adhering to the Fung Shui requirements of my client.

This was done with a pagoda style roof in wood with Japanese silk screens and landscaping. The deck was treated with 6 layers of marine grade varnish to achieve the mirror like finish and protect the natural wood from the elements.
